It is important to baby proof your house to keep your child safe and sound.  Use safety gates to block off areas that are off-limits to your baby, such as the kitchen, stairs, and bathrooms. Do not forget to use edge and corner protectors to cover sharp edges and corners on coffee tables, desks, and other furniture. Make sure all chemicals, such as cleaning supplies, are stored in locked cabinets or out of reach of your baby.  Also, keep in mind that there are no trip hazards, such as loose rugs or cords, that could cause your baby to fall.
